The Indiana Department of Education has proposed changes to Indiana’s educator preparation and accountability rules and it is looking for input.
The IDOE is working to address and raise student achievement in the Hoosier state and the revisions are intended to improve the quality of classroom instruction by making it easier for knowledgeable content specialists to transition into the teaching profession and by placing an increased emphasis on content knowledge for new teachers.
You can submit comments to the IDOE until Oct. 30 by clicking here.
