sbc-teoTeo — a Graduate Architect at Ratio Architects — has made quite an impact in a short time as the Indianapolis chapter founder and lead coordinator of Architecture for Humanity, a nonprofit design services firm founded in 1999 to build a more sustainable future through the power of professional design. Drawn in by the non-profit aspect of design competitions to help in humanitarian needs, Teo actively participates in several international and national design competitions.

He has won internationally as both an individual (Africa AIDS orphanage design) and a team (Amazon Challenge). A native of Malayasia, Teo holds a bachelor and masters in architecture from the University of Illinois as well as a degree from the Ecole d’Architecture de Versailles in France.
