Dr. Cedric D. Page

sbc-pageDr. Page — now the Executive Director of the University of New Mexico-Los Alamos — brings a unique background to Schools Building Communities. For seven years, he served as the Dean of Faculty at the DigiPen Institute of Technology. Founded in 1988, the Redmond, Wash., institution — located on the campus of Nintendo USA — prepares skilled programmers, artists, 3D animators and computer engineers for the field of digital interactive entertainment. Dr. Page — who was its founding chief academic officer in 2000 — continues to advise on several program boards at DigiPen.

Dr. Page brings a deep knowledge of post-secondary accreditation from his experience as Associate Director of the Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board and as a consultant for the Accrediting Commission for Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.

A member of the Executive Committee at the Santa Fe NAACP, he was formerly a member of the Technology Advisory Council for the National Urban League. A graduate of Syracuse University, Dr. Page holds masters and doctorate degrees from Rutgers University.
