Dr. Judy Jeon-Chapman

SBC-JeonDr. Jeon-Chapman — who will serve as the language advisor for Schools Building Communities — is a professor of language at Worcester State College in Massachusetts. An instructor of both Spanish and French at Worcester, she oversees Alpha Mu Gamma, a national honor society in foreign language.

Jeon-Chapman, who worked in intrepretative services for the Goodwill Games, also instructs the French language to elementary school children at the Venerini Academy in Worcester. A graduate of the College of St. Benedict in her home state of Minnesota, Jeon-Chapman earned her masters and doctorate from the University of Washington. Committed to personal fitness, Jeon-Chapman was a champion bodybuilder, winning the renown Miss North America and Emerald Cup competitions, both in 1988.
