Pritchard — recently named the Managing Director of Indianapolis’ Development Concepts, Inc. — had spent nearly a decade managing and supporting community development activities in pursuit of strategically revitalizing urban neighborhoods at LISC, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation. His responsibilities included commercial, residential and education facility real estate lending and portfolio management.
Pritchard assisted with the formation of the Charter School Facility Financing Fund, a $20 million loan, grant, and technical assistance program to build new school facilities. A member of at least a dozen boards, one that he serves is for the KIPP Charter School on 30th Street in Indianapolis. Among the other boards on which he sits are the Indianapolis Metropolitan Board of Zoning Appeals, the Indiana Historic Landmarks Housing Committee, the Historic City Market Foundation Committee and the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership.
Pritchard earned his undergraduate degree in history from the University of Wisconsin before claiming his masters in public administration, specializing in urban planning, from his hometown University of Louisville in 2000.
