Dr. Jackson Gould has had varied experiences in the field of education, but her greatest achievement thus far was serving as the leader in the creation of Indian Creek Elementary, a science-and-technology-focused magnet elementary school in Indianapolis that consistently was named an Indiana Four-Star School as well as Blue Ribbon School and One of America’s Best Schools by Redbook Magazine.
An award-winning principal, Jackson Gould was named as Indiana’s Principal of the Year and a National Distinguished Principal by the U.S. Department of Education. A former elementary school teacher, she has also served as an assistant superintendent, a university adjunct professor and an educational consultant at both the state and national levels. A graduate of Purdue University, Jackson Gould earned her master’s and doctorate degrees from Indiana University.
