Dandridge — a former finance and business operations director for the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning at the University of Indianapolis — has a deep background in the corporate world, but has also been a visiting professor in the fields of business, finance and accounting at both Indiana Wesleyan University and the University of Indianapolis. She has overseen finance and analysis at companies with $50-million budgets.
Also active in her community, Dandridge has been the recipient of the YWCA Women of Achievement Award and serves on the board of directors for both the Marion County Commission on Youth and the Indiana Black Expo. A graduate of Purdue University, Dandridge earned her M.B.A. from the University of Detroit Mercy.
